RAPPAPORT CENTER FOR LAW AND PUBLIC SERVICE

ELIGIBILITY

The Rappaport Fellows Program in Law and Public Policy attracts talented law students passionate about public policy and careers in the public sector. For this reason, the selection process for the Rappaport Fellows program is quite competitive. Any J.D. candidate who is not in his or her final year of study and is enrolled at one of the six law schools in the Greater Boston region (Boston College Law School, Boston University School of Law, Harvard Law School, New England Law|Boston, Northeastern University School of Law, and Suffolk University Law School) is eligible to apply for a Rappaport Fellowship.

We seek applicants with strong academic records, a commitment to public service as shown by past paid and volunteer work experiences and extracurricular activities, and a demonstrated capacity for leadership. Applicants are evaluated on a non-partisan basis. Although we cannot guarantee that every law school will be represented in each class of Rappaport Fellows, we are committed to fair and inclusive distribution of the fellowships among Boston area law schools.
